Positive Impact of Sports on Individuals and Communities

Nowadays, there are many types of sports ranging from football to swimming. Also, the many sports types make it easier for anyone to play, irrespective of their age. But are sports beneficial to us in any way? Games have many positive impacts on everyone. This guide will discuss the top ways in which individuals and communities benefit from sporting activities.

●   Sports foster healthy living

According to scientists, sports have various physical and physiological benefits which improve your health. They can trigger the body to secrete chemical substances called endorphins, which aids in relieving stress, pain, and elevating positive moods. Additionally, exercising helps in the development of lean muscle mass, stamina, and muscle endurance. This reduces your chances of obesity, hypertension, heart attack, stroke, and so on. You are also assured of increased performance in physical activities with less fatigue.

●   Enhances unity

There is something about sports that brings togetherness; a camaraderie is formed between strangers when they support one team. Major sports activities such as soccer attract a lot of pomp and color from fans as they show their favorite team’s support. As seen on https://ronaldo.com/, avid fans will want to keep up with the latest happening of their teams by getting informed on upcoming matches. Sports such as football bring people from different backgrounds and religions together when they support one team. This kind of support to teams will have people unite in their community, coming together when needed because they have already become familiar with each other in sports.

●   Creates employment

Sports are a significant source of employment. Sportsmen and women boast of being in an industry that pays talent well in the world. With some of the highest sportsmen and women earning over six million, sports are quite lucrative. Sports do not only employ sportspeople; many careers are also employed through games including, doctors, news anchors, and nutritionists. There are also quite several business opportunities that are established due to sports such as vendors who sell foodstuffs in stadiums, branding companies that brand uniforms and betting companies. It is a vast industry providing opportunities to so many people.

●   Entertainment

It is always fascinating to watch any sporting activity, whether watching live in a stadium or on a screen from home, sports are quite exciting. They keep someone on edge, especially if there is a team they are supporting that is participating.

Positive Impact of Sports on Individuals and CommunitiesThe frenzy created by fans when there’s a significant sporting activity happening in their neighborhood is always bedazzling. Folks carrying out healthy banter about each other’s teams is such an entertainment creating a happy mood for everyone.

●       Helps the players to develop more self-confidence

Sporting is a project. To win, a player has to lay down all ideas regarding the game, select the most viable ones, point out what he is targeting in the game, and use the strategies to realize it. As they work hard and see their goals through, it proves to them that they can achieve higher targets in life. The players can, therefore, tackle new assignments and projects skillfully with more confidence in their abilities. With such determination, the player can develop leadership skills and transform into a more responsible person in society.

●       Leads to more developments in the community

Players realize the benefit of working together as they commit towards reaching a common goal. They also acquire different problem-solving skills. Later in life, the players can transfer their team spirit to the benefit of society by building more training institutions, playgrounds, hospitals, and so on. By so doing, they will contribute to the development of a more civilized generation, thus boosting society’s economic and social aspects.

●   Reduces the social ills in the society

Imagine the case of a community with many teenagers who are just out of college, are jobless and live closely together. If they have nothing to keep their minds busy, such youngsters may easily influence each other to engage in drugs and other social ills in the society. However, having sporting arrangements like community tournaments, daily workout schedules, sport guidance, counseling sessions, and so on can positively impact society and the participants. It will cover up their spare time, thus keeping them busy all through.

As you can see, active engagement in sports has many benefits, ranging from health to physical. It also equips players with problem-solving skills and leadership skills. Additionally, games positively impact society through the reduction of social ills, economic, and social developments. However, if you can’t find the above benefits from your sporting activity, you may not be committed to it. Perhaps talking to your coach will help out. The coach will guide you to reap the entire benefits of the game and extend them to the society.

US Most Evil of All Enemies: Iran’s Leader

US Most Evil of All Enemies Iran's Leader

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged officials to maintain their unity and solidarity, and stand up to the vast enemy front with one voice.

“The enemy’s front is mobilizing all its political, economic and propaganda power today to bring the strong Iranian nation to its knees,” said Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

“Under such circumstances, and despite difference of opinion inside the country, we should join hands against the nonsense-talking enemy in unison,” he added in a videoconference with members of the new Parliament.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei likened to an “illness” the numerous economic problems that Iran is facing.

“Due to its strong stamina and defence power, the country undoubtedly has what it takes to tackle this illness,” he said.

“By the enemies’ own admission, they have been unable to achieve their anti-Iran objectives despite the most severe sanctions and pressure imposed on Iran,” he noted.
The Leader also expressed regret over a surge in the coronavirus outbreak in the country, urging all to abide by health protocols, especially wearing masks.

He also called on authorities to reach out to the needy amid the virus pandemic.
Ayatollah Khamenei then expressed his gratitude to all medical personnel, who are contributing heavily to the campaign against the disease.

Jahan-nama means “orrery” in Persian: it is the most perfect name given to the western part of Sahebqaraniyeh Palace in Niavaran Complex, which has been allocated to the preservation of works donated to the Pahlavi dynasty or purchased by them.

Indeed, Jahan-nama Museum displays a world in a limited space, where you can clearly recognize the evolution and development of human talents and feelings. It contains historical objects from different cultures, and works by different artists.

The building includes four halls on the ground floor and one in the basement. It was allocated to the perseveration of works donated to or bought by Farah Diba, the former Iranian queen, in 1976. On the roof of the middle hall, there is a painting on wood with the famous Persian theme of “Rose and Nightingale” of Shiraz.

Jahan-nama Museum was inaugurated in February 1998. The works in this museum are displayed in two sections: prehistoric art, and works of contemporary visual arts from Iran and the world.

Examples of works in the first section include the ancient remnants of pre-Columbian civilizations, Lorestan bronze, Amlash pottery, and the North American Indian art from the first and second millennia BCE.

In the other part, there are works by contemporary Iranian artists such as Sohrab Sepehri, Nasser Oveisi, Faramarz Pilaram, Jafar Rouhbakhsh, Parviz Kalantari, Bahman Mohasses, Sirak Melkonian, Jazeh Tabatabai, Mash Ismail and Parviz Tanavoli; as well as the non-Iranian ones like George Brock, Paul Gauguin, Paul Klee, Picasso, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Diego Giacometti, Fernand Léger and Mark Chagall.

Tehran-Beijing Cooperation to Disrupt World Order Sought by US: Iran

Tehran-Beijing Cooperation to Disrupt World Order Sought by US

Mahmoud Vaezi, the chief of staff of the Iranian president, said the Tehran-Beijing cooperation plan has been criticized overseas.

“This [cooperation] document, whose full text has not been released yet, has immediately come under fire abroad, and they make inappropriate comments about it, which shows they are concerned over this agreement,” said Vaezi on state TV.

He said if the agreement contains commitments on both sides, then it must go through the Parliament for approval, but if it does not contain any commitments, the document will be discussed at a Cabinet meeting before being sent to Parliament which will see if the document accords with the Constitution.

He said the text of the 18-page document will be released only after it is signed.
“If we reach an agreement, the text will definitely be released, but it depends on what the outcome of talks with the other side will be about the agreement and its release. If there is confidentiality, then we will make another decision,” he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Vaezi touched upon Europe’s stance on the Iran nuclear deal.
He said the three European countries seem to be interested in preserving the nuclear deal, but cannot live up to their obligations under the US pressure.

He then weighed in on the reason for the Europeans’ flip-flop on Iran. “What the Europeans have shown so far has not been based on any logic and principle and they have acted very hesitantly,” he said.

“The Europeans are in such a situation because of their weakness in interacting with the US – they failed to reach any principles in their relations with the US,” he said.

“In my idea, the Europeans are waiting for the remaining months to the US elections to pass, and they believe Trump will not win the election; hence, they are hopeful of the future, and this goes for Europe and many other countries which have problems with Trump’s behaviour,” he noted.
