Tehran Won’t Negotiate with West on Regional Issues: Zarif

Mohammad Javad Zarif said Western countries’ interference is the root cause of problems facing regional countries.

“It seems some of our neighbours want the West to be part of negotiations with Iran!” he noted.

“But we will not hold talks with Western countries on the region,” Zarif stressed.

“However, we are ready for talks with our neighbours, and plans such as the one on regional security presented in 1986, [the plan on the formation of] a regional forum for dialogue in 2016 and the Hormuz peace initiative in 2019 all bear testament to that,” he said.

At Least Seven Killed in Autumn Floods in Southern Iran

Heavy rainfalls over the past days have created flash floods and swollen rivers in seven provinces in southern Iran, claiming the lives of at least seven people in Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces.

Head of the Red Crescent Society of Iran in the coastal province of Bushehr said the body of a 35-year-old woman was found in Borazjan on Sunday after she was drowned in Dashtestan county.

Landslide in the same province has killed another woman in a village.

According to local officials, five people from two families have lost their lives in a region at the common border of the southern provinces of Hormozgan and Fars in serious flooding.

The five victims were in a pickup and a sedan when their vehicles got stuck in a local road.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society and other organizations are carrying out rescue and relief operations in the flood-hit provinces.

Heavy rainfalls have forced the authorities in a number of towns to order the evacuation of people to makeshift shelters.

Double-Digit Growth: Effective Massage Therapy Marketing

Marketing matters for any business and that also includes massage therapists. Massage therapy and services like it do a great service for many people, in terms of physical and mental health.

However, it can be a challenge to find ways to make your clinic stand out from the competition. Your first step is to build a strong marketing campaign to help put your business on the map. Turning to a high-quality SEO company in Canada is one thing you can do, but you can also think about using some marketing tricks to start building your reputation. Here’s a list of strategies you can use to bolster your marketing strategy and start attracting more customers.

  1. Develop a good websiteLike your physical storefront, your website is another way to show off your business to potential clients and make a good impression on visitors. A website will be the first thing many customers see of your business, and it pays to make a positive impression from the very start. Make sure your site includes your logo and highlights your massage and wellness services. Take the time to optimize your site so you can start making a connection with your customers. One way to do that is to update your language and show off what you have to offer, be it a caring staff, ease of making appointments, or expertise in addressing a variety of ailments. Making that connection early on keeps your visitors engaged long enough to get in touch, allowing you to convert visits into actual customers.

Aside from the emotional connection, it also pays to ensure that the site is clean and easy-to-navigate. Like a physical store, customers like a neat and orderly site where it’s easy to find the products and services they need. Update your web design for a simple but effective aesthetic that gives your visitors everything they need to know without being overwhelming.

  2. Optimize for mobile

Another element of a successful website is optimizing for mobile devices. Many users tend to search for products and services through their phones or tablets, especially if the need came up suddenly. Optimize your site to work with mobile devices to serve those visitors and increase the chances of converting them into paying customers. Make sure your site uses a responsive design so your content remains readable on differently-sized screens. No matter what device your users use to view your site, responsive design allows them to view your content without difficulty. Another thing to keep in mind is fast load times. Fast load times are a good way to improve the user experience and make an impression on visitors. Think of optimizing for mobile as another way you can build trust with your users and improve conversion rates moving forward.

  1. Build up your brandPart of standing out from the competition is displaying your branding and specific niche. Branding includes far more than your core wellness services, it also incorporates your logo, personality, and core values. Showing off a little of your personality is key to forging a relationship with your clients. With a friendly, professional tone, you can transform your business from a run-of-the-mill massage therapist to one that cares about its patients. Remember, the goal is to connect with your clients, and building your brand is a way to strengthen that bond.

Another thing that helps is knowing your target audience. Once you know who your intended clients are, it’s much easier to tailor your website and content to connect with their needs. If your clinic specializes in sports injury therapy in Brampton or other areas, you can focus your marketing efforts on athletes who would are more likely to need your services. Keep in mind that you don’t need to cater to everyone. Knowing your niche and sticking to it is a perfectly acceptable approach to growing your business.

  2. Create great contentThere’s more to getting noticed than offering quality massage services in Kitchener and other local areas. Content is king is a common piece of advice you’ll hear in marketing, and it’s a bit of wisdom that holds true. Good content is a great way to provide useful information to your clients, especially when it goes hand-in-hand with the massage services you already provide. For example, you can make articles detailing how clients can improve their health at home in between appointments for therapy. Content helps provide greater utility above and beyond what your clients expect. Think of it as a way to gain some goodwill and build trust with your client base.

Writing authoritatively is also an effective way to build authority, which can help set you apart from the crowd. Many clients tend to search for quick answers to problems, and being there to answer their questions (How to cope with back pain, to name one example) is a good way to get their attention. Take note that there’s no need to limit yourself to written articles. Video in particular is a powerful medium for connecting with customers. Use it to give your clients a more hands-on lesson for caring for themselves at home, or introduce your team to prospective customers. Think about making a YouTube channel to use as a platform for sharing your content, and to expand your marketing approach.

  3. Offer nice incentivesAfter connecting with your clients, it’s a good idea to let them know that a long-term relationship with your clinic comes with great benefits. One thing you can try is setting up a referral program. Use your existing clients to spread the word about your massage therapy business and offer incentives for doing so. For every new client that an existing client refers, they get a discount or a free massage, to name a few perks you can offer. This method is also a great way to keep building that relationship with your customers, and welcoming new clients into the fold. You can also offer special deals on social media, like offering free aromatherapy or other treats for first-time visitors. Get creative with adding incentives to your marketing campaign to appeal to a wider audience. People like to feel special, and your incentives are an effective method of making them feel that way. Going the extra mile with customers is just another way of making a good impression and making them much more likely to become repeat customers.

Building a marketing strategy can be a challenge, but it’s not an insurmountable one. Keep these ideas in mind to help grow your clinic’s marketing strategy moving forward.

Do’s and Don’ts: 5 Basic Plumbing Safety Tips from Pros

Image Credit: Terra Artesana | Pixabay

Plumbing is something that we don’t think much about until there’s a problem. Then, we wonder if we need to call a professional or can fix the issue ourselves.

Taking care of your own plumbing can be dangerous, however. Doing it wrong can cause leaks that lead to mould or flooding. Fortunately, with these plumbing safety tips, you can manage your plumbing and keep your pipes secure.

Here’s what you need to know!

DO: Have the Right Tools

Having the right tools for the job is a major part of being safe in any endeavour. For plumbing, you’ll need specific tools for specific tasks. Don’t try to use something for a purpose it’s not intended for.

Also, make sure you have the right safety equipment. Just because you aren’t a plumber yourself doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t wear safety glasses and even a protective hard hat.

You don’t want to be injured if something goes wrong, especially since many plumbing pipes are under high pressure.

DON’T: Get in Over Your Head

You have to know when to call the professionals. Some jobs simply require more expertise than you have, and there’s nothing wrong with that!

If you need to call a company like PT General Contractor Inc., do it. Sometimes a person with the extra training and experience can do the job more quickly and safely than you can.

If you take on more than you can handle, you may put yourself and your home into an unsafe situation.

DO: Know When Systems are Interrelated

Your plumbing doesn’t stand alone in your home. It’s possible that when you have a plumbing issue, you need to make changes that affect your HVAC or another system in your house.

If you need to, contact Winnipeg furnace repair along with your plumbing professional. That way you know that your water lines aren’t impacting your HVAC. Sometimes you can get help from the same company for both HVAC and plumbing.

DON’T: Forget to Turn Off the Water Main

You see it in cartoons, but it can happen in real life as well. When someone starts to work on a faucet or other fixture without turning off the water supply, you end up with more tears than laughs.

Water will come out of the fixture at very high pressure and you’ll deal with a flood that’s very difficult to stop.

Make things much easier and remember to turn off the water supply before you start working on your plumbing!

DO: Know the Plumbing Codes

Plumbing, from the piping to materials, has to be done a certain way to be up to the building code in your area. If you’re not aware of these rules, you could be fined by your local or provincial authorities.

Make sure before you start work you understand what’s required. Do you need a permit? Is a professional required for this type of work? Are you going to need air purifiers in Toronto to clean the air when you’re done?

Know the rules before you dive in!

Be in the Know Before You Go for It

If you’re planning to do your own plumbing work, it’s important to be safe as you work and to do the project correctly. These do’s and don’ts will help keep you on the right track.

With these tips, you can work on your plumbing with confidence.

Iran Calls on Portugal to Play Active Role in Tehran-EU Relations

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araqchi made the comment in a meeting with Portuguese Ambassador to Tehran Carlos Antonio Rico Da Costa Nos while describing Tehran-Lisbon ties as cordial.

The top Portuguese diplomat, in turn, expressed his country’s readiness for and enthusiasm to boost and expand mutual relations with Iran as well as Iran-EU ties.

Portugal will assume the European Union’s rotating presidency as of January 2021.

Iran Welcomes Peaceful Settlement of Qatar-Saudi Row

Saeed Khatibzadeh said Iran pays due regard to good relations with neighbours.

“We straightforwardly and promptly welcomed any settlement of tensions in the Persian Gulf region. The Iranian foreign minister adopted a stance on the issue and said that within the framework of the good-neighbourliness policy, we embrace any move at any level to politically resolve the crisis in the Persian Gulf,” he noted.

The spokesman then criticized Riyadh and Abu Dhabi for their stances on Doha.
“We believe the path that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have taken to lay siege to Qatar was one of bullying,” he said.

“The issue should be resolved through political means and the situation in the Persian Gulf should return to normal as soon as possible,” the spokesman said.

“Iran-Qatar relations are not affected by third elements; they are cordial ties. The Islamic Republic of Iran has stood by its neighbours both in times of hardship and in times of joy,” said Khatibzadeh.

Iran Won’t Negotiate, Compromise on National Security: Spokesman

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh noted Tehran’s position on the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), has not changed.

“We spent tough years negotiating the JCPOA and the deal was the result of the Iranian nation’s resistance. The JCPOA was finally singed and inserted in UN Security Council Resolution 2231. So, all those who are familiar with international law know that neither will Iran re-negotiate something it has already negotiated, nor will these words change the binding nature of UNSC Resolution 2231 which also applies to the JCPOA.,” said Khatibzadeh.

“We hope Europe will get to know its status and potential and consider the floor and ceiling of relations,” he noted.

“In the years following the conclusion of the JCPOA, the European signatories to the deal unfortunately failed to make good on their commitments. As you know, the EU coordinator has been the guarantor of the implementation of the JCPOA,” said the spokesman.

He slammed Europe for failing to deliver on its obligations under the nuclear deal.
“In fact, it fell upon the Europeans to coordinate the enforcement of the JCPOA. The European countries, including Germany, failed to live up to its obligations even during the years when the US had not yet pulled out of the JCPOA,” he noted.

“Europe’s failure to fulfil its commitments has been mentioned in the numerous letters Iran has sent to the joint committee tasked with implementing the JCPOA,” the spokesman said.
He underlined Europe should come to realize that Iran is well familiar with its rights and responsibilities.

“Moreover, Iran has always reminded the other side of its rights and responsibilities,” he stressed.

He once again highlighted the failure of Washington’s policy of pressuring Iran to make the country submit to its demands.

“The Europeans, including Germany, should know the objectives which were not achieved through the United States’ ‘maximum pressure’ policy will not be gained by any other means, either,” he said.

“Our policy is a fundamental one. We know our interests. We have both interests and legitimate concerns, which we ask Europe to respect,” he noted.

Iranian, Syrian FMs Discuss Latest Developments in Tehran

In the Monday talks, the two ministers discussed bilateral, regional and international issues as well as the joint battle against terrorism.

Hailing the broad and strategic relations between Iran and Syria, the two senior diplomats reaffirmed commitment to enhancing and strengthening bilateral ties and weighed plans for promotion of bilateral and multilateral economic relations.

At the beginning of the meeting, Foreign Minister Zarif paid tribute to the late foreign minister of Syria Walid al-Muallem, congratulated Foreign Minister Mekdad on his new post, and expressed readiness for cooperation with the new Syrian foreign minister.

Zarif also expressed satisfaction with the continuation of the political process in Syria, reaffirmed Iran’s support for the Astana Process, and said he was positive about a recent conference on the return of Syrian refugees.

Expounding on the situation and the recent developments in the region, Foreign Minister Zarif stressed the need for vigilance and consultations among Iran, Syria and other countries.

For his part, Foreign Minister Mekdad conveyed condolences from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian people to the Iranian government and nation for the martyrdom of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and top commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, paying tribute to the two revered martyrs.

The visiting foreign minister also expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for the constant supports for Syria in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

Mekdad then denounced the US’ anomalous activities in the region that have escalated the tensions, saying they reveal that the Zionist regime’s interests have priority over the US’ interests in the region.

He finally underlined the Syrian government’s determination to keep fighting against terrorism, saying mutual cooperation between Damascus and Tehran is significant in this approach and is considered as a basic step in restoration of peace and calm to Syria.
