Brussels to Host Two Major Meetings on Iran Monday

In a post on his Twitter account, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi wrote despite US sanctions and pressures, the third EU-Iran High-Level Seminar on ‘International Nuclear Cooperation’ will be held in the Belgian capital.

The city will also host the Fourth Round of Political Dialogue between Iran and the European Union, he added.

Araqchi wrote that Iran’s nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi will represent Iran at the nuclear seminar and he himself would exchange thoughts with EU Deputy Foreign Policy Chief Helga Schmidt at the fourth round of political talks.

Salehi headed to Brussels on Sunday to attend the third EU-Iran High-Level Seminar on ‘International Nuclear Cooperation’ on November 26 and 27.

The meetings come as the US has threatened to sanction the European firms working with Tehran.

Iran’s Kermanshah Once Again Hit by Strong Quake

According to the US Geological Survey, (USGS), the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers on Sunday.

The official IRNA news agency quoted University of Tehran’s Institute of Geophysics as saying that the quake struck 17 km west of the Iranian city of Sarpol-e-Zahab in Kermanshah Province, 18 km from Qasr-e Shirin and 33 km from the city of Gilan-e-Gharb.

The institute also put the magnitude of the quake at 6.4 followed by a number of aftershocks ranging from 5.2-3 degrees on the Richter scale.

The quake was also felt in most cities in Iran’s Kermanshah and Ilam provinces as well as in Tabriz and Urmia, the capital cities of East and West Azarbaijan provinces, respectively.

Iran’s Red Crescent Society has dispatched relief and rescue teams to the affected areas where local officials have reported cases of injuries among people.

Kermanshah province’s deputy governor general was quoted by Fars news agency as saying that scores of people have been treated for injuries, mostly in the two cities of Sarpol-e-Zahab and Gilan-e-Gharb.

The official added that power supply has been cut in some affected areas in Kermanshah Province with technical teams doing their best to restore electricity.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi Geological Survey said the quake was felt in the capital Baghdad and in Erbil in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region with the country’s Interior Ministry saying that no damage or casualties had been reported so far.

Last November, Kermanshah Province was hit by a powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake, which killed hundreds of people.

The epicenter of 2017 quake was 32 kilometers south of the Iraqi city of Halabja, in Iraqi Kurdistan, and just across the border from Iran, but the highest casualties occurred in the city of Sarpol-e Zahab, in Iran’s Kermanshah Province.

Iran Urges Arab League Chief to Avoid Divisive Comments

Reacting to the latest remarks by the Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Qassemi directly addressed him and said, addressed AL Secretary General and said, “We think it’s better for you to stop making divisive remarks under the influence of certain regional states.”

“I remind you of the fact that you are the secretary general of the Arab League not a mere promoter of the policies of certain states with special behaviours and manners which stand in contradiction with the fate and interests of Arab and Muslim states of this sensitive region of the world,” he added.

“The Islamic Republic has established balanced and wise relations with most regional states and neighbours based on cooperation, dialogue, common interests, mutual respect and non-interference in each others’ internal affairs with due attention to the rights of neighbourliness and regional security, stability and interests,” Qassemi said.

This is a fundamental and long-term policy which Iran has pursued so far and will do so in future, he added.

Qassemi further noted that Iran has stood by regional states more firmly than ever in the times of need and when requested by them, and has constructive exchanges with their nations and governments.

He said Iran believes the main audience of Gheit’s remarks should be the very states which spend billions of dollars each year from their nations’ wealth to purchase security from extra-regional states.

“But what they achieve at the end of the day is just insults and a growing concern over their future. As a neighbour and Muslim state in the region, we are deeply regretful to see such a situation has dominated the region,” he said.

Back on Thursday, Arab League chief said Iran ”must respect territorial integrity” of Arab countries. In an address to the Mediterranean Dialogues conference in Rome, he noted ”Iran, which is trying to defend its own interests, should think about changing its attitude towards Arab countries.”

Iran Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack in Syria’s Aleppo

In a Sunday statement, Qassemi expressed deep regret and concern over the reports of the incident, and described the attack as “inhumane and despicable”.

“The cause of such an inhumane act by terrorist groups is the unflinching intellectual, political, financial and military support provided by some regional and trans-regional states for these groups, which are on the brink of annihilation,” he noted.

A chemical attack by terrorists on Syria’s northern city of Aleppo on Sunday left scores of people injured.

The Syrian government says shells fired at an Aleppo neighbourhood have caused breathing difficulties and blurred vision in over a hundred residents.

Most of the victims, some of whom children, have been hospitalized. Health officials said the symptoms suggest that chlorine gas was used in the attack, but terrorists have denied using poisonous substances.

Meanwhile, Syria has called on the UN Security Council to condemn the chemical attack. The Syrian Foreign Ministry says the UN should punish those behind the gas attack.

Iran Leader Urges Saudi to Stop Acting as US’ Vassal State

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

“Today, some regional countries obey the US instead of God. [In return] the US humiliates them, due to its arrogant nature,” Ayatollah Khamenei said Sunday.

“You’ve heard the babbler US president likening Saudi rulers to milk cow. If Al Saud is okay with that, to hell with that; but this is an insult to [the country’s] people and Muslim nations,” he told a gathering of government officials, ambassadors from Muslim countries and guests participating in the 32nd international Islamic unity conference in Tehran.

The Leader said Muslim governments should do away with the US and stand on their own feet.

“We advise Muslim rulers to return to the guardianship of Islam. The guardianship of the US and tyrants won’t do them any good,” he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei suggested that Muslim countries should avoid supporting the war against Yemen and the so-called “deal of the century” on the Palestine conflict the US is preparing.

“Why should Muslim rulers assist the criminal move against Palestine and the Yemeni people? These rulers should be confident that victory in both fronts will belong to Palestinians and Yemenis and the US and its vassal states will be defeated,” he said.

US, Israel Weaker than Ever

The Leader further urged Muslim intellectuals and pundits to work to promote the culture of Islamic resistance in the region, saying this will help the region win over the US.

“Do your best to strengthen the Islamic Awakening and resistance in the region, as the spread of this thinking and morale is the only path to save the region,” he said.

The Leader said the US and Israel are now in a much weaker position than previous years, pointing to Israel’s decision to implement ceasefire following the latest escalation in Gaza earlier this month.

In the worst violence between the two sides since the 2014 war, Gazans fired over 400 rockets or mortar bombs at Israel in response to a botched Israeli raid in Gaza.

The reason behind the irrational US approach towards the Middle East is that they are panicked by the nations’ attraction towards Islam and resistance, which could deal a big blow to the US hegemony in the region.

“Wherever Islam has dominated hearts and souls of people, the world arrogance has been slapped [in the face] and we really believe that the arrogance will once again be slapped by the Islamic awakening,” he said.

The Leader said Iran could be a model for Muslim countries, as the country has managed to push back the US and resist its pressure in all these years.

He referred to the latest US sanctions on Iran, saying the country has already survived such pressures and will do so in the future as well.

Sooha Lake; Pure Beauty in Northwestern Iran

With its green and fresh meadow and the thick forests around it, the region can irresistibly attract any tourist.

Sooha is a large lake, 10 kilometres away from Namin, a small city widely known for its Fandoqlu Forest.

Each year during the spring, the region is covered by chamomile. You can see the same plant covering even in the summer. Sooha lake, also locally named Sava, has been created by the water originating in the pond behind Sava Dam.

The lake is flanked by a forest on one side and a hill and a walking pathway leading to Laton Waterfall on the other. The region, which serves as the starting part of the dense forests of the northern province of Gilan, has already attracted a large number of nature enthusiasts with its mild weather.

Any visitor coming to the region can occasionally see some cute colts grazing on the rich gross of the nearby plains.

‘Family Only Remedy for Loneliness Caused by Modernism’

Addressing the third edition of the two-day summit on Friday, Ebtekar spoke about the experiences, laws and policies of family support in Iran, and emphasized, “The topic of Family Empowerment is a central theme for enabling societies to flourish and advance and for the promotion of justice and peace at the global level.”

“The only remedy for the loneliness brought by modern times is the family. It is equally important for me to be a cabinet member and a mother at the same time. This perception leads to the balance of work and family,” she said.

The summit, which was kicked off on Friday, was hosted by leading Turkish non-profit, the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) with the main theme of “family empowerment”.

KADEM addressed the family as the basic unit of society and threats facing the family. For this purpose, the Summit brought together government officials from different countries, women leaders, political actors, women entrepreneurs, academics, researchers, journalists and activists, to discuss and negotiate successful examples and practices related to family issues developed in different countries.

At the inauguration ceremony, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the cultural values of protecting women’s and children’s rights and said that paying attention and supporting women’s and men’s rights are essential.

Erdogan highlighted the significance of the issue of violence against women and the elimination of discrimination, and said, “In primary schools, we will start education with the ‘non-discrimination’ campaign and we hope to develop peace in the community with such trainings.”

Referring to the concept of justice, the Turkish president added, “Equality of opportunity is the path to women’s uprising, but attention should be paid to the balance of roles and to their support.”

Zehra Zümrüt SelçukOn the sidelines of the summit, Ebtekar had a meeting with Turkish Minister of Labor, Social Services and Family, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, during which the two sides discussed topics such as increasing cooperation and exchanging experiences on micro businesses, home care and family empowerment.

Iran and Turkey have a common understanding regarding women that they will implement as soon as possible by establishing a joint action plan.

Ebtekar also met with her counterparts on the experiences of women in different countries. She returned to Iran on Friday night.

What Information to Provide in Custom Essays

Custom essay writing services are becoming more popular as college students struggle to find the time to work on their homework. Professors often assign many assignments at once, which can make it difficult for students to keep up with their assignments. While some students need to use custom essay writing services, some of the websites can be complicated to use. Luckily, ThePensters.com, a brand new kind of custom essay writing service, makes it easy for students to use their site.

When students order essays online, whether it be on ThePensters.com or another online essay writing service, they will need to input information so the writers on the website know what kind of paper needs to be written. Some websites might have crazy amounts of information to input when ordering a paper, but ThePensters.com only has four.

What Information to Provide in Custom EssaysEmail Address

The first piece of information students must input on the website is their email address. It is best to use a personal email address, rather than a school email address, as most colleges frown upon using essay writing services. The email address is required for many reasons. Students are likely to get email alerts when writers bid on their paper, a notice when their paper is completed, and payment confirmation.

Paper Type

There are over a dozen types of papers for students to pick from on ThePensters.com. Luckily, it’s not hard for students to pick a paper type. All they need to do is select a paper type from a drop-down menu. Below is a list some of the popular paper types students can order on ThePensters.com.

  • Essay (any type)
  • Admission essay
  • Case study
  • Coursework
  • Creative writing
  • Presentations
  • Research paper
  • Term paper
  • Thesis/Dissertation chapter

If a student needs a paper written that is not on the list, then there is also an “other” category that students can pick. They will need to be more specific once they hire a writer, but not in the initial order form. In fact, students can message their writer to add more detail (if they want) no matter which type of paper they order.

Pages

This section is simple enough. All students need to do is click the number of pages they need. If students don’t know how many pages they need, they should consult their assignment syllabus to know how many pages their professor expects their assignment to be.

ThePensters.com’s writers charge, in part, on the basis of how long the paper is. For this reason, the longer the paper needs to be, the more expensive it will be. If students want a cheap paper, then it is best that they order a short paper.

Deadline
The last piece of information students need to add in their order form is the deadline. This is the date when the writer needs to turn in their work. It is best that the student makes the deadline before the due date for their assignment. This will give the student time to look over the work and pay the writer before turning in their paper.

It is clear to see that ordering a paper on ThePensters.com is easy. Students can always give more information to their writer if they want to. If not, all it takes is four simple steps that can be completed in less than five minutes, to order a top-notch cheap essay.

US’ Defence of Human Rights Hinges on Size of Arms Deals: Iran

Bahram Qassemi

Referring to recent remarks by the US State Department’s spokesperson on terrorism and human rights violation in Iran, Qassemi said “nothing more can be expected from the officials of the US government who link human rights and the lives of people to the volume of their trade with others and the amount of dollars they receive for their contracts.”

In a Saturday statement, the spokesman said it is good news for the world’s freedom-seekers that the US sees no reason anymore to cover up the double standards it has long been adopting.

“Today the country’s officials are explicitly, blatantly and with an unprecedented shamelessness promoting a new pattern of defending human rights based on the size of the arms contracts they sign with others, under the banner of deceptive humanitarian slogans and human rights outcries,” he noted.

“To this end, the US officials give the green light to some of their anti-human allies to slaughter millions of innocent people including women and children in some regional states, to bring them years of drought and disease, and to bomb their schools, hospitals, and their wedding or mourning ceremonies with cutting-edge fighter jets,” he noted.

Under such circumstances, the US cannot and should not moan and shed tears for the death of global security and human rights violations in others states in a false and completely scandalous position, he said, adding that such defence will only mock and distort the concept of human rights.

In a tweet on Thursday, US State Department Spokeswoman Heather Nauert said the US needs tough action to stop what she called Iran’s terror and violence abroad and improve its human rights record at home.

“We will continue to support the voices of Iranian people and to galvanize int’l support for our efforts. The world must be unified in saying no to Iran’s abuses,” she claimed.

On the same day, US President Donald Trump contradicted the CIA’s assessment that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had ordered the killing of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul, suggesting that the murder will not affect Washington-Riyadh relations given the huge arms deals they have.
