What Can You Do with A CRM?

If you have, you know how irritating that is. If one problem is somehow solved, you would hesitate before calling that company’s customer care the second time you have a problem.

Let’s look at such interactions objectively:

From the customer’s point-of-view, it creates a very bad first impression.

From the business owner’s point-of-view, you see something went wrong and you want to offer a better standard of service to your customers.

If you start your own business, this is one of the several cases of horrible customer service that you want to avoid.

This is where CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software can help you avoid painful and embarrassing customer service gaffes thus ensuring your customers stay satisfied and happy in the long-term. This software can help you develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers.

What can you do with a CRM software?

When it comes to buying CRM software, we must accept and anticipate information overload because the CRM industry is VAST. In fact, by the year 2025, it is expected to reach revenues upwards of $80 Billion USD.

With a market so large in size, the question remains – which features to prioritize when selecting a CRM? We are going to discuss the most important CRM features in this article.

1, Manage the contacts

At its core, the CRM is a searchable database of customer information spread across multiple fields. Every CRM allows you to manage a certain number of contacts which also become your email list. The size of your email list decides exactly which plan you will select when buying the CRM.

The most important consideration is the ability to customize the database schema. If your CRM is a smart CRM, allow users to fully customize the database by adding a wide variety of brand new data fields.

  1. Track interactions

As a lead moves through the funnel, they are likely to move from marketing to sales team and then more than one sales agent. Everyone talks to them over different media – email conversations, email activity tracking, phone calls, website interactions, etc.

It is absolutely paramount that your smart CRM allows you to view all the conversation data from a single screen. Without that, your agents will end up wasting their time trying to consolidate data and that wouldn’t be much different than a clumsy, spreadsheet-based lead tracking system.

To maintain alignment between Sales and Marketing teams, it is crucial that all the data about each customer is visible to all agents. Without that, the scenario which we started this article with, could very well become a reality.

  1. Identify the best leads

All leads are not equal. Some are more profitable than others. Sometimes, the most high-value leads may not be ready to buy immediately. To find the most (instantly) profitable leads, a lot of factors, such as budget, decision-making authority, stage in the pipeline, and others,  must be considered.

Through advanced lead scoring methods, the CRM can help you identify the leads that are most likely to convert through your sales efforts.

The more of these leads, the higher likelihood of your sales agents reaching their targets faster

  1. Manage the lead pipeline

Advanced CRM also provides a view of all deals across the entire pipeline from a single screen. What can you see on this single screen?

  • Total deal value and individual deal value across categories of deals
  • Scheduling of the next call/interaction
  • Collaboration within the sales team
  • Summary of the performance of each sales agent
  • Deal analytics across the pipeline

As a result, you get a quick glance of all your deals. This is called pipeline management or campaign management.

  1. Integrate your email client

Sales agents will often use email to regularly communicate with their leads. At the end of the day, if the CRM does not integrate your email client, they will have to copy the conversations from email into the CRM.

With the email client integration, this overhead can be avoided as the CRM brings email within its software. Due to its interaction tracking capabilities,  the CRM will also automatically track their conversation. The sales agents now wouldn’t have to worry if all details in their conversation are entirely recorded in the system.

The CRM is like adding nitro-boost to your business

What we discussed in this article is an essential and fundamental list of CRM features. The smartest of CRMs provide many more advanced features. They also cost more and this cost varies according to the size of your email list.

When browsing the market for a CRM, don’t get lost in the marketing jargon. Selecting a CRM is about staying focused on what suits your business requirements and your budget.

Iran Supports One-China Policy amid Controversy over Hong Kong Security Law

Iran Condemns US Oil Deal with Syrian Kurdish Group

In a statement on Sunday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi emphasized that “non-interference in the affairs of the other countries, protection of the territorial integrity of the world countries and respect for their national sovereignty” are among the clear and immutable principles in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“Based upon such principles, the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the importance of respecting the ‘One-China’ policy, condemns any foreign interference in the internal affairs of the People’s Republic of China and any harm to that country’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and stresses the need for enforcing law and keeping order for the stability, welfare and security of people of Hong Kong,” he added.

His comments came after the National People’s Congress of China, which opened its annual session on Friday, announced a plan to impose national security legislation on Hong Kong. The proposed law would allow the Chinese authorities to set up agencies and carry out their duties in the territory.

China’s Foreign Ministry says the countries voicing opposition to, or concern over, the planned national security law for Hong Kong should stop interfering in China’s internal affairs.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday warned of “consequences” if the US stopped the ships from reaching their destination.

In a Sunday message to his Lebanese counterpart Michel Aoun, President Rouhani congratulated the government and nation of Lebanon on the anniversary of the “major and glorious victory” against the Israeli occupiers.

“The historic victory that was achieved with the fortitude and resistance shown by the Lebanese men and women is a medal of honour shining on the chests of all the people of Lebanon, and demonstrated that the struggle against bullies, aggression and occupation leads to victory and fulfillment of the divine promise,” President Rouhani noted.

The Iranian president also noted that a key factor in the continuation of Lebanon’s success in the fight against the “Zionist and Takfiri” enemies and in thwarting the hostile plots has been “the rapport and solidarity of the Lebanese people in light of the government, the army and the resistance.”

“I am confident that people of Lebanon will never forget this strategic choice,” President Rouhani noted.

He finally wished President Aoun health and success and growing prosperity for the people of Lebanon.

Lebanon is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the end of Israel’s two-decade occupation of south Lebanon, known as the Liberation Day.

Israeli forces were forced to withdraw on May 24, 2000 after persistent attacks by Lebanese resistance factions that included Hezbollah Movement.

Despite its withdrawal from Lebanon, Israel continues to occupy strategic hills and plains of the Arab country. The two sides also have disputes over their maritime borders.

Iran, Turkey Move to Reopen Land, Air Borders

Rouhani Congratulates Erdogan on Turkey's National Day

In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for the immediate reopening of the land and air borders between the two countries in conformity with the health protocols to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Citing the global economic problems caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the two presidents called for the resumption of the trade exchanges and freight services between Iran and Turkey.

They also expressed hope that a new session of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in the near future and after settlement of the coronavirus crisis would give fresh impetus to the economic collaboration between the two Muslim neighbours and help implement the previous bilateral agreements.

Hailing the history of close cooperation between Tehran and Ankara, the two presidents stressed the need to promote interaction and share the experiences and knowledge in the fight against COVID-19.

“In the current situation, reopening of the land and air borders in conformity with the health protocols and the resumption of the trade and commodity exchanges is a must for both countries,” President Rouhani underlined.

For his part, President Erdogan emphasized that the mutual cooperation and sharing experiences in the battle with the novel coronavirus will be highly effective.

Emphasizing the importance of expansion of economic and trade ties with Iran, the Turkish leader said he will be issuing the necessary orders to reopen the border crossings and restart the trade exchanges with Iran.

The outbreak of coronavirus epidemic in February led to the closure of common border between Iran and Turkey, cancelled the flights, and greatly reduced the trade interaction between the two neighbours.

Iran’s Leader Grants Clemency to 3,721 Inmates on Eid al-Fitr

Iran Leader Grants Clemency to Large Group of Iranian Inmates

The pardon was granted at the request of the country’s Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important Islamic festivals.

Several political prisoners, including a number of university students, the workers of Haft-Tappeh factory, and those arrested on the International Labour Day protests are among the inmates who were granted clemency.

Article 110 of the Constitution grants the Leader the right to pardon or reduce the sentences of convicts upon a recommendation from the head of the Judiciary.

The clemency, however, does not apply to all types of convicts, including those who have been sentenced for their role in armed struggle against the country, armed or organized drug trafficking, rape, armed robbery, arms smuggling, abduction, bribery and embezzlement.

Eid al-Fitr, also called the Feast of Breaking the Fast, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide.

The religious festival is a day that Muslims are not permitted to fast on that specific day.

The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal.
