Living in Bardeh Historical Castle

This historical castle was built by Bakhtiari khans (feudal lords) at the end of the Qajar period. The castle has both defensive fortifications (towers and curtain walls) and living quarters. These include two separate courtyards each with an andaruni (inner quarter) and a biruni (outer quarter) as well as a stable and storeroom.

Bardeh Castle is located on a natural hill overlooking the village of Bardeh and it lives on despite having suffered damage over the past years.

The village is located in Ben County, 45 kilometres away from the city of Shahr-e-Kord in the western province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.

A number of the descendents of the founders of the castle still live in the building, which also hosts fans and tourists, who would like to pay a visit. Residents of Bardeh village still call the residents of the castle with the title of “Khan” and accompany them in different affairs.

Currently, each courtyard of the castle is owned by several descendents of its founders, who use the castle as temporary residence. Two household, however, live in the castle permanently.

Bardeh Castle is a personal property of these individuals, but is administered in conjunction with the Cultural Heritage Organization, due to the structure’s listing as a national heritage site.

Palestinian Groups Appreciate Iran Leader’s Stance on Cause of Palestine

In the letters, five Palestinian groups once again expressed their gratitude to Iran and the Leader for their support for Palestinian people’s struggles and for refusing to recognise the Israeli regime.

The groups reiterated Tehran’s role as the pivot of unity among, and resistance by Islamic countries.

They also honoured the memory of assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani and his role in keeping the cause of Palestine alive.

In a live televised speech on May 7, 2021, marking International Quds Day, Ayatollah Khamenei touched upon the quantitative and qualitative growth of resistance forces, and noted the balance of power in occupied Palestinian territories was tipped in favour of the world of Islam.

He also underlined that Tel Aviv was in a downward spiral and underscored the need for continued resistance against the Israeli regime.

In their letters, the Palestinian groups said the Leader’s speech came at a time when Palestinian anti-Israeli protests had grown into a mass movement and Israeli settlers were carrying out brutal attacks on the city of Qods.

“Settlers desecrated sanctities and assaulted Qods residents,” read part of one of the letters.

The groups said that Palestinians were also attacked by bullets and tear gas.

“This unflinching support by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of Islamic Leader, played a major role in boosting the power of [Palestinian] fighters in Gaza, the West Bank and Qods, and in [strengthening them in] the fight agains the Zionist enemy,” said the letters.
They also reiterated Ayatollah Khamenei’s statement that the Israeli regime only understands the language of force.

Iran Arrests CEO of BRG Token, Buyer of Jack Dorsey’s First Tweet

The Centre for Investigation of Organised Cyber Crimes confirmed his arrest in a statement on Monday after days of speculation on the issue on social media.

“Members of the illegal, unbacked, and invalid BRG token have been arrested on charges of disrupting the country’s economic system, on orders from the special prosecutor’s office for economic crimes,” the statement read.

“Countering this network, which began around 9 months ago, on the basis of reports from the public, field observations, and requests from relevant scientific and technical centres and operators, has now entered a new phase after investigations were completed and their fraudulent activities were established for the experts of this centre.”

Token is a type of cryptocurrency that does not require an independent blockchain to operate and is rather created on the basis of other cryptocurrencies’ blockchains. This makes creation of tokens simple.

The BRG project launched by Estavi has been criticised for lacking backing, using false advertising, high concentration in a few wallets and faking fluctuations to drain people’s money, among other things.

Accordingly, Iran Blockchain Community, the Fintech Forum and the Organisation of Computer Guild Union, which are three of the recognized private sector organisations active in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, announced the Crypto Land exchange platform has never been a member of them. They expressed hope that oversight bodies pay attention to warnings of the private sector experts when they should to ensure the health of Iran’s cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.

Eatavi was also known for buying Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first-ever tweet for $2.9 million.

US Offering Israel More Accurate Weapons to Kill Children: Zarif

“Meanwhile, the United States blocks the release of the UN Security Council’s mildest statement,” he added.

“The world is just watching the ugly face of Israel and its supporters,” he further said.

Zarif’s reaction comes as the Israeli regime has been pounding the Gaza Strip on end for days now.

There have been fresh airstrikes and shelling from land and sea as the regime’s deadly onslaught on the besieged Palestinian territory enters its second week.

The latest attacks hit residential buildings near the main hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Warplanes also struck a location near the Islamic University in western Gaza.
