Iranian and French Firms Sign Science Cooperation MoU

Iran’s Dana Energy Company and a major French integrated geo-science company have penned a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost their mutual cooperation in the field of science.

On the sidelines of an exhibition in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Saturday May 4, Danan Energy Company and France’s CGG Services SA inked an agreement to cooperate in defining and implementing onshore seismic data acquisition and processing projects in Iran.

“The signing of this agreement is a ground-breaking development for the geophysical services of Dana Energy. It gives us the global reach to deploy our technology, and work with the most experienced geophysical staff in the world to develop the technology further in operational settings,” Davoud Sarbaz, a senior official with Dana company, said during the ceremony, Shana reported.

CGG provides leading geological, geophysical and reservoir capabilities to its broad base of customers primarily from the global oil and gas industry.
