UN General Assembly passes resolution for ceasefire in Gaza

The 193-member United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has voted overwhelmingly in favour of a resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip which has been under Israel's bombardment since early October.
