‘Chabahar Port Symbol of Iran-India Mutual Cooperation’

President Rouhani made the remarks on Saturday in a meeting with India’s new ambassador to Iran, Gaddam Dharmendra, after receiving his credentials.

He also said mutual ties between Iran and India are growing in all areas and underlined that Tehran attaches significance to deepening of its ties with New Delhi.

“The signs of the long-time mutual cooperation between Iran and India are visible across the two states and our today’s mission is preserving the current strengthened ties,” he said.

‘Chabahar Port Symbol of Iran-India Mutual Cooperation’President Rouhani also expressed satisfaction with the growing mutual ties between the two sides over the past years and referred to the achievements made during the recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Iran.

“The agreements made by Iran and India during the Indian PM’s visit to Iran particularly those made on Chabahar as well as the trilateral ones between Iran, Afghanistan and India are highly significant,” he said.

He referred to Chabahar as a symbol of cooperation between Iran and India and called for immediate implementation of the agreements made in energy areas.

The Iranian president said signing long-term agreements play a key role in deepening of the strategic ties between the two states.

He then described all regional states’ presence in fight against terrorism as urgent and expressed hope that New Delhi and Islamabad as two regional states should take steps in the direction of restoring peace and stability to the region.

President Rouhani expressed his country’s preparedness to expand ties with India in fight against terror and strengthening regional security.

For his part, India’s new ambassador to Iran delivered the Indian president and nation’s warm regards to the government and nation of Iran and underlined that his country is willing to expand further its ties with Iran in mutual areas.

Dharmendra underlined that mutual ties are moving forward fast in Chabahar and said so far good progresses have been made and use of national currency has further increased trade volume between the two nations.

He also called for further mutual cooperation between Iran and India in fight against terror.

No Power Capable of Dividing Iran, Iraq: Zarif

Zarif made the comments in a Saturday address to a conference entitled “Martyr Hakim; Axis of Unity”, which was held at the University of Tehran in commemoration of the late Iraqi Shiite cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir al-Hakim.

The Iranian top diplomat referred to al-Hakim as a role model in Islamic ethics, saying that the cleric’s characteristics played a key role in the creation of today’s Iraq.

“If it wasn’t for Martyr Hakim’s characteristics, we would be facing a totally different Iraq today.”

According to the top diplomat, the groundwork laid by the late cleric in Iraq has ended up in today’s deep and institutionalized relations between Iran and Iraq.

“Today, we see that no power in the world is capable of separating the two nations from each other. The relations started with the [creation of] Badr organization in fight against [former Iraqi dictator] Saddam [Hussein] and continued until today with Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Units) [in fight against ISIS].”

“And we saw how the Iranian and Iraqi nations stood by each other in fight against Takfirism and terrorism,” he said.

The Iranian foreign minister said the cleric was martyred by the most corrupt individuals on the earth, namely the Takfirists.

“As a result of his martyrdom, the blood of Iranians and Iraqis was blended in fight against Takfirism, ISIS and [other] terrorist groups,” he said, adding that such unity will never allow any division between the two countries.

According to Zarif, Martyr Hakim prudently thwarted some highly dangerous plots hatched against the future of Iraq. “He managed to pass through the dangerous stage in Iraq’s history through his wisdom and tack.”

The Iranian top diplomat referred to his recent five-day visit to Iraq and said during the meetings he held with various Iraqi factions, he “wholeheartedly” felt that the two nations of Iran and Iraq are inseparable.

“Tonight I will depart for Iraq for the historic visit of President [Hassan] Rouhani to the neighbouring state and I’m sure the visit will reveal that the two nations serve as the beating heart of the region,” he said.

According to Zarif, without Iran and Iraq, the region will see no tranquility. “The two countries serve as the pillars of regional security and we hope that with the new initiatives adopted by Iraqi parties, we would be able to take a step forward.”

He once again praised Martyr Hakim and said the cleric was not only a Shaheed al-Mehraab (Martyr of Sanctuary) but also a Martyr of Unity.

“Today we see there are groups in Iraq made up of all religious and ethnic groups. In one of my visits to Iraq, I held talks with two alliances led by Ammar al-Hakim and our brothers in Badr [Organization].”

“In today’s Iraq, all groups from Shiites and Sunnis to Kurds, Turkmens and Christians have come together and this is a great victory for the unity in Iraq which Martyr Hakim had heralded,” he concluded.

Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir al-Hakim was a senior Iraqi Shiite cleric and the leader of the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq. He was assassinated in a bomb attack in Najaf in 2003.

Azerbaijan’s top diplomat highlighted the brotherly and growing relations between Iran and Azerbaijan and said Baku sees no tangible obstacles in the way of strengthening its political, economic, cultural and social ties with Tehran.

“Iran and Azerbaijan have always sought to establish peace and stability in the region through their regional cooperation,” he said in a Saturday meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran.

Mammadyarov described as important the current relations between Iran and Azerbaijan in various areas including the Caspian Sea and various dams and power plants projects and said the two sides’ trade ties will expand further after the mentioned projects are accomplished.

He hailed as “strategic” the joint project to construct a railway between the Iranian city of Rasht and the Azeri city of Astara, which connects the Iran-Azerbaijan border to the Islamic Republic’s national railway

“The Rasht-Astara railway project is a strategic and significant regional project,” Mammadyarov said.

“Through the railway, Iranian, Russian and Azeri railway networks will become interconnected and the three states can reach the Black Sea through Georgia,” he said.

He also delivered an official invitation letter from Azeri President Ilham Aliyev to President Rouhani to attend the Non-Alliance Movement summit slated for next year in Baku.

President Rouhani, in turn, described Rasht-Astara railway project as a significant one, saying it is a long step in meeting regional as well as Iran and Azerbaijan common interests.

He also noted that Iran and Azerbaijan have already made agreements on constructing a number of dams and power plants.

The Iranian president said mutual relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are expanding in various areas, adding that significant projects are underway by the two states today.

Rouhani also expressed satisfaction with the growing ties between Iran and Azerbaijan and said the Iranian government is willing to expand its relations with the neighboring Azerbaijan in all areas.

He then referred to the urgency to expand cooperation between Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia and said there are various regional projects which could be implemented trilaterally.

Bahram Qassemi Appointed Iran’s New Ambassador to Paris

According to the official website of the ministry on Friday, Qassemi, a former envoy to Spain and Italy who in recent years has served as spokesman of the foreign ministry, was appointed as Iran’s new envoy to France.

Iran President Offers Congratulations to New Judiciary Chief Raisi

In a message released on Saturday, Rouhani highlighted the importance of the Judiciary in the Islamic establishment as well as its responsibility to strengthen social capital and people’s trust in the system.

“The judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the most important symbol of our Islamic system’s resolve to defend people’s rights, implement justice and ensure social security,” he said.

“Without a doubt, carrying out this important mission will be possible with the judiciary’s independence, away from factional and partisan considerations, and disregarding the pressure of some media and propaganda powers.”

Rouhani also voiced the government’s preparedness to cooperate with the Judiciary.

“I hereby express the government’s readiness to cooperate and interact with the Judiciary to realize the noble causes of the Islamic system and fully implement the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said.

On Thursday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei appointed Raeisi as the head of Iran’s Judiciary replacing Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani were among the officials who also congratulated Raeisi on his new position.

Raeisi was the Islamic Republic’s former attorney general and the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the organization managing the affairs of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH), the eighth Shia Imam.

Forex Trading Brokers Make the Difference for Clients

Forex market refers to the buying, selling, exchanging and speculation on currencies. The market is made up of banks, commercial companies, central banks, investment management firms, hedge funds, retail forex brokers and investors and it operates on two levels, interbank and over-the-counter.

The interbank market is where large banks trade currencies in between themselves for balance sheet adjustments, hedging and on behalf of their clients while the OTC markets is where individuals trade with the help of online platforms and brokers.

Forex Brokers

Forex brokers are firms, companies or financial institutions that facilitate the trading of currencies through their trading platforms where people can buy and sell foreign currencies. These brokers mainly earn through bid-ask spread or transaction fees and with the increase in competition in the forex market and the increase in volume, the transaction costs have gone down. Forex brokers facilitate trading in all major currencies and currency pairs in the world and also allow people to trade in the currencies of emerging markets like India.

Types of Forex Brokers

All forex brokers offer the same service of facilitating trading of currencies but go about it in their own ways of doing it. All brokers operate in different ways which can have significant effect on your trading experience. Here are the different Types of Forex Brokers:

  1. No Dealing Desk

As the name suggests, these brokers don’t have a dealing desk and operate by acquiring leading composite quotes from quote providers which allows them to have the required liquidity in the forex market. These brokers execute transactions and fill orders as per the requirements of their clients based on these quotations and charge their clients a commission fee or widen the bid spread to earn returns.

  1. Market Makers

Market makers provide a two sided market to their clients which originate from an expert forex trader who operates as a part of their in-house dealing desk. Market makers purchase currency on their bid side and sell it to the clients on the quoted price by the client thereby acquiring the other side of the transaction from their clients.

Market maker offer instant trades, fixed spread and no rollover fees making it a faster and cheaper approach to trading.

  1. ECN (Electronic Communications Network)

This is an online trading platform where market makers, banks, traders and individuals enter offers and bid for currencies. Here, you get direct price rates from international banks and as these are just online platforms they cannot go bankrupt unlike Market Makers.

  1. Straight Through Processing

STP brokers are more flexible to the needs of their clients. They operate on same rates as that of interbank market rates and use custom algorithms to determine the best way to complete a trade for the client and choose whatever method between interbank market and trading against the client gives them the most profit.

All these methods achieve the singular aim of providing the service of forex to the clients with the difference being in the methodology used by the brokers to achieve the most profits for them and the best deal for their clients.

Iranian Scientists Find New Method to Treat Malignant Tumors

The University Dean Mohammad Aqajani said at a press conference that in this method, a new treatment for type-4 malignant tumors has been developed along with standard therapies such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

According to ISNA, the new method has been developed as a complementary methodology for the first time in the world by researchers from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

The first phase of the project has been successfully carried out on animals, and the medical ethics permits for the human phase has been received.

For a brief review of Iran’s achievements in various fields of science and technology, check the book “Science and Technology in Iran: A Brief Review

“This approach was first tested about 4 years ago, and we are now moving from this step to the next so that we can use this innovative method for more patients. If the plan is successful, we hope we can use it as a routine treatment along with other standard methods,” noted Aqajani.

Aqajani added that malignant brain tumors have no certain medical treatment in the world today saying that unfortunately, surgical methods, chemotherapy and lasix-info.net have not had much effect on patients’ survival.

“Therefore, the new innovative method of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has been selected through a global study. The question was how to transfer live microorganisms that can kill cancer cells to cancerous tumors. The innovative method of the university is that these microorganisms are transmitted through two new techniques into the tumor which makes it more effective for microorganisms to kill cancerous cells,” concluded Aqajani.

Iran, Iraq Enjoy Exemplary Relations: Rouhani

Hassan Rouhani made the remarks in a Saturday meeting with new Iraqi Ambassador to Tehran Saad Abdul Wahab Jawad Qandil, just two days before making his first-ever trip to Iraq as the Iranian president.

Rouhani said Tehran and Baghdad have great potential for the enhancement of mutual cooperation, adding the enthusiasm of both nations contributes to the further promotion of reciprocal ties.

President Rouhani said the Iranian government and nation are longing for the promotion of Iraq’s security, development and welfare as a brotherly and friendly country.

“Like a brother, the Islamic Republic of Iran has stood by the Iraqi nation and government in all areas and through all bitter and sweet events, and will continue to do so,” said Rouhani.

The president then touched upon his upcoming visit to Iraq, expressing hope invaluable and significant agreements will be reached during the trip in order to further deepen relations between the two sides.

The Iraqi diplomat, in turn, submitted his credentials to President Rouhani and stressed his country favours closer relations with Iran on all fronts.

He said Iran is regarded as one of the most countries for Iraq, adding Baghdad seeks to further reinforce Tehran-Baghdad relations.

He expressed hope that Rouhani’s trip to Iraq will be a major step toward the further promotion of reciprocal ties.

Rouhani is set to visit Iraq on March 11 in his first trip to the neighbouring state during his 5-year term in office. While in Iraq, he is scheduled to meet with senior Iraqi officials, including Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi, and top Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

Iran, Azerbaijan Discuss Promotion of Ties

During the Saturday talks, various aspects of bilateral ties were discussed with a focus on development of economic cooperation between the two neighbouring states.

They also exchanged views on the most important regional and international issues.

The visit of top Azeri diplomat came a few days after the trip of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Tehran, which caused concerns in Baku given the ongoing dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

In reaction to the concerns, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said last week Tehran’s policy towards the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute has not changed, and the country is still prepared to help Armenia and Azerbaijan Republic settle the dispute peacefully.

“As I have repeated time and again, the Islamic Republic of Iran has a clear, transparent and clear-cut stance towards all its neighbours,” said the spokesman.

“The top priority of Iran’s foreign policy is its neighbours. We are keen on having strong ties with our neighbours based on mutual respect and non-interference in [each other’s] domestic affairs and at the same time seeking to further expand our relations,” Qassemi noted.

“In our estimation, Iran’s relations with any of the neighbouring countries will, undoubtedly, not be against the interests of a third country, be it one of the neighbours or another country in the world,” he added.
