Russia Says Ties with Iran Source of Regional Stability

Novak made the remarks in a Tuesday meeting with Iran’s Energy Minister Reza Ardekanian in Isfahan.

The Russian minister said the two sides attach great importance to further development of ties, and views Tehran as its significant and long-time partner.

“The two sides are now involved in the Green Corridor project aimed at streamlining customs procedures which can play a key role in the development of their ties,” he said, according to a report by dolat.ir.

For his part, Iranian energy minister underlined that during the fifteenth meeting of the Joint Commission of Iran and Russia in Tehran, the two sides agreed to accomplish the executive operation of electricity generation project of Garmsar-Incheh Borun railway line within the next two months.

He went on to say that the two sides have held constructive talks in various areas including electricity generation for Garmsar-Incheh Borun rail line.

He then referred to an agreement signed between Iran and the five members of the Eurasian Economic Union on free trade and said the agreement is set to be approved by Iran’s Guardian Council soon.

The free trade zone is planned to be in effect for four years, under which the EAEU will grant Iran tariff concessions on more than 500 items.

“We have also reached some agreements in the medicine area to expand our ties by 2021. So far the two sides have already called for registration of drugs for rare diseases,” he said.

Ardakanian then said the two sides have also discussed ways to remove banking problems and expressed hope that the problems are removed in the near future.

“To this end, the two sides will hold some working group meetings to exchange views on various aspects of the problems,” he said.

Mursi Remembered as Egypt’s Only Democratically-Elected Leader

Mohamed Mursi came to power as a result of a Twitter and Facebook revolution or what some call the Arab Spring or Islamic Awakening.

He replaced dictators who for decades ruled over the Egyptian people, and some called him a Moses who took the place of Pharaoh.

His legitimate democratic government did not last for more than a year, however, and the military once again dismissed him by a coup on the pretext of defending the rights of the people who opposed him.

Mohamed Mursi was not an ideal president, writes Mohammad-Reza Norouzpour in an article for Khabar Online.

“He made a lot of mistakes. His domestic and foreign policy was not defendable. When he took the majority of people to the polls to support the Islamists, it was a bad test and he blamed it on the Islamists,” he added.

“But one thing is certain. Through him the Egyptian people once and for all enjoyed the taste of democracy, albeit acrid and premature.”

Iran Gives Details of Disbanding US Cyber Espionage Networks

Intelligence

In comments on Tuesday, director general of the counterespionage department of the Intelligence Ministry said the Islamic Republic has dealt the “first global blow to the American espionage network” in the cyber-space.

The official said more details of the new attack on the hostile network will be released in the near future.

In another operation in recent months, the official added, the Iranian intelligence forces dealt a blow to a new network of the US spies.

A detailed description of the operations and the evidence of activities of the CIA spies in foreign countries will be published after judicial processes, the official said.

“The US espionage network includes a considerable number of professional CIA spies who have received a blow in the recent attack from the Intelligence Ministry of the Islamic Republic and its global allies,” the official said, adding that the spies involved in the case are regarded as “premium sources” by the CIA, because of their close cooperation with the US spy agency and the information they had been providing.

Highlighting the counterespionage activities of the Intelligence Ministry at the international level, the official said Iran uses the “capacities of other allied (intelligence) services” in the battle against the US.

He also said Iran’s success to uncover Washington’s international cyberespionage network not only prevented hostile intelligence measures against Tehran, but also disrupted a remarkable part of the global intelligence activities of the United States.

The Americans take advantage of the cyber-space to act against Iran and also to contact their spies across the world through safe communication systems, the official said, s noting that the Iranian forces managed to penetrate into the US cyberespionage systems, which operate under the guise of social, health or athletic websites.

“Detection of the spies was not confined to Iran alone, although Persian websites were also among those sites,” the intelligence official stated, adding that a number of the spies were identified as Iranians committing treason and cooperating with the CIA from inside the country deliberately.

Some of those Iranian nationals were brought to justice, while a number of others were used as an “opportunity” and employed for infiltration into the US cyberespionage network, the official added.

The director general explained that the US tried to retrieve all of the spies and bring them out of different countries after realizing the blow from Iran, which resulted in the termination of the network.

The spies working for the CIA used to cover various industrial, military, cyber, economic and infrastructural spheres, the official noted, adding that Americans have described the blow as a defeat that resulted in the shutdown of their plans.

Americans have explicitly described their failure as “an utter global crash, an intelligence scandal, and America’s biggest intelligence defeat after the September 11 (attacks) that has inflicted hundreds of billions of dollars in costs and loss on them,” the Iranian official concluded.

Catching Public’s Eyes: Tips on How to Attract Guests to Your Booth

The problem is getting an audience to notice what you have on display because it is not simply showing up to the convention and hoping for the guests to notice your booth. You have to be proactive.

Being proactive is not a simple task. It requires a lot of hard work, but sometimes, you can get help here and there, just like the tips that we are about to share with you.

  1. Have a Stand-Out Booth

For a custom-made show booth, this is not impossible. They are able to convey their message and that alone is eye-catching to the public. However, this is less likely to happen for rented stands such as the professional booths for events in Dubai because rented means generic, more often than not. What you can do is hand out freebies or have contests for the guests and let it be known that a significant prize is waiting for whoever wins the contest.

On the other hand, contests or freebies are not necessary. Sometimes, it just needs a good old-fashioned means of catching the guests’ attention.

  1. Promotional Items

There was a time when handing out pens was the best promotional gifts you can provide guests. Not anymore. Those who attend trade shows are looking for more substantive items that they can use every day. In addition, the quality of the products that you are handing out should be just as good as the products that you are promoting, otherwise, they will think that your products are as bad as the giveaways.

  1. If Not Items, Games

This creates a more lasting impression, especially if all your competition has is brochures and promotional items. Up the antics by coming up with games, quizzes, or polls. This normally attracts positive attention to your booth. However, ensure that it does involve bingos or any card games.

You may even quiz them with questions that are significant to the industry or take a poll and ask them what they think should be improved either with the industry in general, or the products that you have on offer. This can even cultivate loyalty especially if they feel like they are being listened to.

Of course, do not forget to give them rewards if they get your quiz right, or after you poll them.

  1. Your Product on Display

Do not be ashamed to present your products to the public. This is the reason why they are here, and the reason why they hop from one booth to another. If possible, make them experience your product firsthand by allowing a demonstration of sorts where they can use it themselves. This is the true test of your product’s value.

A booth can only do so much, especially when they are just rented. Gimmicks as these may sound, they are the best way to proactively present your brand to the public and the better way of catching their attention.

7 Best Skincare Tips for Everyone

Stem Cells Used to Make Skin Young Again

Many people love to say that the secret to glowing skin is to drink sufficient water – and some may even suggest that you try this cream, or that supplement. However, not everyone has a celebrity-like skin, every skin product doesn’t work on everyone, supplements and creams are not magical elixirs, and drinking excessive water is a great healthy habit, no doubt, but it isn’t a skin saver.

Whether you find acne on your face, on the torso or on the buttocks, it’s always frustrating. Since most people lives now tend to be sedentary, treatment for butt spots has become popular. It’s best to focus on finding natural and organic products that won’t irritate or damage your skin.

What then are the best skincare methodologies out there for everyone? Many people will tell you different stories about how this method or products worked on them or how they did some magic to make their face eczema-free. But, we all know one thing for sure – skincare isn’t a generic process, and what works on A might even worsen the skin condition of Z. However, we’ve compiled a list of some great skincare tips for everyone, you can check out them out below.

Have You Got a Pimple

One of the most common facial challenges many face today is the problem of pimples and acne. It is a common skin infection that affects both old and young. But, a great skincare tip to manage this infection and condition well is to avoid touching your face. Most people do this very frequently and subconsciously, but, what many fail to realize is that, your hands are filled with bacteria most of the time. If you are now popping or touching an already inflamed area, you will only be adding debris to the acne and delaying its disappearance. A quick tip for everyone is to avoid popping a pimple, because when you attempt to squeeze the area, you will only worsen the zit and this isn’t a good skincare habit at all.

Avoid Multiple Products

Many people are quick to jump to a new skin product the moment they feel as though their existing cream isn’t working well anymore. So many others indulge in the habit of mixing products together, with the hope of getting an improved result. Multiple products don’t equal better skin, and in fact, there are certain skincare products that shouldn’t even be mixed together. For instance, exfoliating ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and retinol shouldn’t be used at the same time, because mixture of both will cause skin dryness. A good tip for you to care well for your face and body is to stick with a skin product you are using (try to find the best one for you from the start), so that you don’t experience clogged pores.

Expensive Doesn’t Mean It Is Good

Have you been led to believe that an expensive skincare product is the best skincare product? Well, let me let you in on a little secret. There is no correlation between the price of a product and its results on your skin, and you don’t need to spend $200 on a skincare product for you to get dramatic results. In fact, you can find quality skincare products in the forms of skincare lectures and videos, supplements, cream and preparations at ridiculously cheap prices especially when you visit a site that offers Coupons and discounts. Here you can find a great deal of offers and options available every time. Do not let anyone extort you anymore in the name of getting you the best skincare products, when you can find a wealth of offers here.

SPF Is Vital

One of the most important skincare factors that you’ve got to always consider is the SPF. SPF is known as the sun protection factor, and it is vital because sunscreen is the most important skincare stage. Sunscreen will protect your skin from free radical damage that can cause quick signs of aging and cancer.

Don’t Focus on Face Only

This is one of the most important skincare guides to follow, because many people are guilty of always focusing on the face only – maybe because it is the most obvious part of the body. However, it is important to always focus on the neck, décolletage and other parts of the body too. It wouldn’t be so great to have a superb face with an inflamed neck. There are many products prepared specifically for different areas of the body, so it is important to care for these parts of the skin too, by using any of the specially designed products.

Save Your Skin-Care Routine till Bedtime

According to studies, the skin repairs itself overnight. So, it is best to use some of these skincare products at night. You may apply simple moisturizers in the morning and leave the main routine till night. This is to ensure that your skin takes in as much of the supplied nutrients as possible. Also, the weather conditions are often calmer and less harsh in the evenings, so it is a great time to apply your products.

Apply All Skincare Products in Layers

The best way to care for your skin is to treat it like a bunch of sponge that needs to sap every of the goodies applied. Therefore, always apply your skincare products in layers, from the ones with the thinnest texture to the ones with the thickest texture.

Iran Ultimate Winner of ‘Battle of Wills’: Rouhani

The Iranian president made the remarks on Tuesday in an address to a ceremony to inaugurate a new terminal at the Imam Khomeini International Airport south of Tehran.

“We will not wage war with any nation, those facing us are a group of politicians with little experience,” Rouhani said.

Rouhani noted that ill-wishers have launched a “war of hope and wills” against the Iranian nation, and the enemies are attempting to create despair among the Iranian nation through malicious schemes.

However, he added, Iranians are determined to defeat such plots and keep their hope alive, and “will be the ultimate winner of this war and pressure.”

Rouhani said that “despite all of the Americans’ attempts in the region and their intention to cut off our ties with the entire world and their desire to isolate Iran, they have been unsuccessful.”

He went on to say that the world community praises Iran’s stance in its face-off with America.

“Iran has been loyal to its signature, Iran has been loyal to international agreements, and the one standing against us today is the one that has trampled all pacts, agreements and international accords,” he added, referring to the US’s withdrawal from a 2015 multilateral nuclear deal with Tehran.

I’ll Take Up Arms, Defend Iran If US Attacks: Pro-West Pundit

Sadeq Zibakalam, a professor of political sciences at the University of Tehran, has, in an interview with the Iranian University Students (IUS) news website, weighed in on his own stance towards a possible US invasion of Iran, and the way the Iranian people would react.

Excerpts from the interview follow.

The [Islamic] Establishment should be preserved. This is not what I’m saying only today. I had the same opinion 10 years ago as well. During the presidency of Mr. Khatami (former Iranian president), the University of California was holding a series of conferences. Every other month, I along with a number of reformist friends took part in the conferences as representatives of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Office for Political Studies. This coincided with the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. Before that, the US had attacked the Taliban, and now it was [former Iraqi dictator] Saddam [Hussein]’s turn. At that time, some people said now that the United States has reached Iraq, it should attack Iran as well.

At that time, the key question was whether or not the United States would attack Iran after Afghanistan and Iraq. In the same conference, one of the professors of the University of Tel Aviv presented an article in that regard. The gist of the article was that if the Americans attack Iran, 70 percent of Iranians will welcome that; so, according to him, it was the best chance to strike Iran. In the final hours of the conference, Steve Spiegel, the liberal Jew who had organized the event, came to us and asked if we wanted to respond to those comments. In response to the person who had presented the article, I said suppose not 70 percent, but 90 percent of Iranian people would back a US attack on Iran. Then what are you going to do with the remaining 10 percent, which makes up 6-7 million people?

‘I’m among that 10 percent. If the United States attacks my country, I will no longer spend my time formulating theories; rather, I will take up arms and defend my country against the US!’ I said, ‘You would have to go from city to city and alley to alley to find those 7 million people and kill them. How are you going to do that?’

At least 30 percent of the people, as the main core, are loyal to the Establishment. Even if the economic situation becomes worse than what it is now, these people still will vote in elections and take part in rallies; this is very important. Of course, most Iranians, based on their religious beliefs, seek to preserve the Establishment, and some of them, including Sadeq Zibakalam, approve of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Establishment not necessarily because of their religious beliefs, and are of the conviction that if the Establishment is harmed, the whole Iran will face problems.

Time for Iran and US to Forget Bitter Past

Zibakalam is known in Iran as a staunch supporter of Iran-US talks and normalization of ties between the two sides. He also disagrees with those who chant ‘Death’ to the US and even Israel. A video recently gone viral showing him refusing to put his feet on the flags of the US and Israel at the entrance of an Iranian university.

In a recent op-ed published by Arman-e Emrooz daily, Zibakalam argued that the history has gone past, and it’s time for Iran and the United States to forget the bitter past events and think about the future amid international mediation efforts.

“The specific demand of Iran is to be recognised by the Americans and the issue of regime change be resolved once and for all,” Zibakalam wrote.

“If this fundamental issue is resolved between Iran and the United States, then the problem of hostility with the United States will be practically put aside. There remains a widespread list of issues that have been the subject of disagreement between the two countries. From the role of the Americans in 1953 Iranian coup d’état to sanctions issue today could be named.”

“However, what is certain is that history has gone past, and nothing could be done about 1953 coup, and it’s not possible to deal with the occupation of the US embassy and hostage-taking anymore. All these issues remained in the past, and it’s time for Iran and the United States to forget the bitter past events and think about the future,” underlined Zibalkalam.

This Iranian scholar further pointed out that Iran and the United States need each other to solve regional and international problems.

“Everyone knows that without the cooperation of Iran and America, the issue of the future of Arabs will not be resolved, as Iran-US cooperation in confronting ISIS in Iraq and Syria was influential.”

“Therefore, in many important issues in the Middle East, Iran has a common strategy [with the US]. There is an initial agreement on the demands of Iran and the United States.”

Zibakalam underscored that “If we put aside American hardliners, we know many of Americans recognize the Islamic Republic and, apart from the fatwa of the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, in practice, Tehran has shown through all the IAEA inspections over the past few years that it has complied with all its obligations in the framework of NPT.”

“Therefore, the demands of Iran and the United States have been met to a great deal, and other problems can be solved via negotiation,” he said.

“As we know, there are many differences between China, and the United States, Russia and many of their allies, but these differences do not justify life-long hostility between Beijing and these countries. Therefore, Iran can think of other options, provided that the United States stops its moves against the Iranian nation,” he added.
