Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran’s armed forces will act with strength and decisiveness and will ultimately cripple the vile Zionist regime.

The leader underlined that the Zionist regime’s crimes will not go unpunished. “The Zionist regime will not emerge unscathed from this crime,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

“The Iranian nation can rest assured that no effort will be spared in this regard”, he added.

Trump tells Iran to make a nuclear agreement “before there is nothing left”

The Trump administration wants to use the war Israel started to get the Iranians back to the nuclear talks when they are in a weaker position.

A U.S. official said White House envoy Steve Witkoff still wants to meet Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday for the planned sixth round of the nuclear talks. But the Iranians said they are not going to participate.

Trump is expected to convene the national security council in the White House situation room at 11am to discuss the war between Israel and Iran, the White House said.

“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to just do it. But no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Friday morning.

Trump added he warned Iran that military action against its nuclear program “would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told.”

“Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!” he stressed.

The president said another planned wave of attacks against Iran will be “even more brutal” and called on the Iranians to make a deal and “save what was once known as the Iranian Empire”.

“JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,” Trump wrote.

Trump posted again on Truth Social and stressed that two months ago he gave Iran a 60 day ultimatum to make a deal. “Today is day 61. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!” he wrote.

Iran has held the United States responsible for the dangerous consequences of Israel’s onslaught that violated the country’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty. Tehran has also warned that the Zionist regime must now await a harsh punishment.”

Ayatollah Khamenei appoints new top military brass

In a decree on Friday, Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Major General Seyyed Abdulrahim Mousavi as the new chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.

Separately, the Leader named Major General Mohammad Pakpour as the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and Major General Ali Shademani as the commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters.

The Israeli regime began a series of military strikes in and near the Iranian capital, Tehran, as well as other cities in Iran overnight on Friday.

Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami, and Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholamali Rashid were assassinated in targeted strikes along with nuclear scientists and ordinary people.

Iran confirms damage to Natanz nuclear facility in Israeli airstrikes, denies radiation leak

In a statement, the AEOI condemned the attack as a “barbaric act” in violation of international law and reiterated that preliminary assessments showed no radiological or chemical contamination had spread beyond the site. The extent of infrastructural damage is still under investigation.

The organization also criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and its Director General Rafael Grossi, accusing them of silence and partiality in the face of repeated Israeli threats and now a direct strike. The statement adds the IAEA’s credibility is “seriously compromised” and its neutrality “eroded.”

The AEOI emphasized that despite pressure and military aggression, Iran’s nuclear program will proceed with “renewed determination,” and that its scientists remain committed to the country’s peaceful nuclear goals.

Iran halts all flights nationwide amid aftermath of Israeli strikes

The Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company announced the nationwide shutdown in coordination with the Civil Aviation Organization, citing the need to “ensure passenger safety.”

The closure applies to all airports and was made public through an emergency notice issued Friday morning.

The strikes, which hit Tehran and multiple provinces, resulted in the deaths of several senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, including women and children.

Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei vowed that Israel “will face a harsh punishment.”

Meanwhile, the National Crisis Management Center urged the public to remain calm, avoid unnecessary travel, and refrain from spreading unverified information online, stressing that “national psychological security must be prioritized.”

Iran calls for UN security council emergency meeting on Israeli aggression

In an official letter to the president of the UN Security Council on June 13, the Iranian mission called for an emergency UNSC meeting in response to the Israeli regime’s brazen act of aggression against Iran.

Condemning the Israeli strikes on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities and senior military officials that have been carried out with the support of the US, the UN mission requested a decisive action by the UNSC in response to the Israeli regime’s criminal and provocative attacks.

In a reckless and illegal action that had been planned in advance, the Israeli regime has carried out a series of coordinated military strikes on Iran’s nuclear centers and civilian infrastructures, the mission said in the letter.

Iran’s mission also denounced the Israeli attack as a clear violation of the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of the international law, warning that its dangerous consequences jeopardize regional and international peace and security.

Iran FM to UN chief: Israel to deeply regret its actions

Seyed Abbas Araqchi wrote that these brutal actions not only constitute a grave violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran, an independent member of the United Nations, but also amount to acts of aggression and war crimes under international law and international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions.

Araqchi stated that Israel—the world’s most terrorist regime—has now crossed all red lines, and the international community must not allow these crimes to go unpunished.

He called on the UN Security Council and the Secretary-General to unequivocally and immediately condemn and act on the matter.

He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and will respond decisively and proportionately to these unlawful and cowardly actions.

In the letter, the Foreign Minister of Iran also called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.

General Staff of Iran Armed Forces: No limits on responding to Israel’s attack

In its second statement following the criminal act of the Zionist regime, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran declared that now that the terrorist and occupying regime of al-Quds has crossed all red lines, relying on the Almighty God and the support of the proud nation of Islamic Iran, there remain no constraints on responding to this crime.

The statement refers to the martyrdom of Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters; Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps; as well as several scientists and Iranian civilians in the aggressive attack by the Zionist regime. It states that these attacks have once again proven to the world the terrorist nature of this malevolent regime.

The statement continues: Although the loss of these individuals is painful and heartbreaking, their comrades and colleagues will never let the flag of honor and dignity raised by these beloved martyrs fall to the ground, and their illuminated path will be pursued with strength and determination.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran underlined that avenging the blood of the martyrs of this aggression is a mission that the armed forces have put on their agenda, and they will not rest until it is accomplished.

IRGC warns Israel to pay dearly for striking Iran

The IRGC public relations department released a statement on Friday morning, paying tribute to IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami and a number of other Iranian commanders and scientists who were martyred in Israeli strikes in the early hours of Friday.

The statement warned that the criminal Zionist regime will pay a heavy price for the act of aggression that was taken with the full knowledge of the terrorist US regime.

The IRGC stated that the path of the late commander, Major General Salami, will continue to be followed unabated by the IRGC forces.

The miscalculation by the sworn enemies of Iran will not remain unanswered, the IRGC stated, warning the Israeli regime to await Iran’s harsh revenge.

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, and two major nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi, have been martyred in the Israeli strikes.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the Zionist regime that it will receive a severe punishment for a military strike that resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Iranian military commanders and scientists on Friday.
Ayatollah Khamenei issued a message on Friday morning following an Israeli strike that claimed the lives of Iranian officials and civilians in Tehran.

The Leader said the Zionist regime must wait for a harsh punishment after committing the crime and revealing its evil nature by attacking residential centers in Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the “strong hand” of the Iranian Armed Forces will haunt the Zionist regime.

The Leader said a number of commanders and scientists have been martyred in the attacks by the enemy, adding that their colleagues and replacements will immediately proceed with doing their duties.

By committing this crime, the Zionist regime has defined a bitter and painful destiny for itself and will definitely face it, Ayatollah Khamenei warned.
