Rescuers are racing against time to find survivors in the remote areas hit hardest by Morocco’s deadliest quake in more than six decades, with the death toll climbing to more than 2,800 people.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that more than 300,000 people have been affected by the devastating quake that struck Morocco Friday night. The 6.8-magnitude earthquake has claimed 2,122 lives so far— making it the deadliest the country has seen in decades.
