Summer Heat

Extremely hot weather on Sunday sent 50 people to hospital in the city of Dehloran in Iran's western province of Ilam, while another provincial city was registered as the hottest spot on the world.

The first festival of happy snowmen was held a few days ago in Tochal complex, in the heights of northern Tehran.

As the level of water has decreased in the Steel Lagoon near the northern Iranian city of Astara, domestic cattle and water buffalos that live beside the region’s swamps and rivers find the lake suitable for bathing.
