Iran’s Sina Sanat Wins Greco-Roman World Wrestling Club Cup

Sina Sanat Izeh of Iran claimed the title of the Greco-Roman World Wrestling Club Cup on Friday.

The Iranian team defeated İstanbul Buyuksehir of Turkey 5-3 in the competition’s final match.

In the third-place match, Iran’s Bimeh Razi defeated Hungary 6-2.

The competition took place in Budapest, Hungary.

Last week, Bimeh Razi became runner-up at the Freestyle World Wrestling Clubs Cup in Kharkif, Ukraine.

The Iranian team lost to Titan Mercury of USA 4-3 in the final match in Kharkif, Ukraine.

World Wrestling Clubs Cup is an international wrestling competition among teams representing member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW), the sport’s global governing body.

The tournament was founded in 2014 at the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran Wrestling Federation, with the first edition held in Iran.
