One of the most interesting cemeteries in Iran’s capital belongs to the soldiers of Alliance who were killed during the two World Wars.
Also known as the Alliance Cemetery or the Government Cemetery, Tehran War Cemetery is located in Qolhak Garden, a property owned by the British Embassy in Iran.
The area isn’t open to the public; only some tours of Tehran will be allowed to visit the cemetery after obtaining a permit.
