The surface of water at Choghakhor wetland in south-western Iran is frozen during cold winter days.
With an area of more than 2,300 hectares, Choghakhor wetland is located near Boldaji, 40 km from Boroujen county in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
The south-western province is going through its coldest days with a temperature as low as -16 °C in some parts.
