Fashak is a very beautiful, temperate village in Alamut region of Rudbar district, Qazvin province.
With a population of about 500, Fashak is located in a stepped mountainous area 20 kilometres to the northwest of Razmian county.
Fashak’s people live with simplicity away from the urban bustle, turning the pages of their lives’ book passionately, kindly, and optimistic about future despite the village’s limited living facilities.
The region’s specific features such as numerous fountains and dense forests allow the inhabitants to earn their living through animal husbandry and cultivation of crops including hazelnuts, cobbles, rice and walnuts.
