Daryasar plain in Tonekabon county of Mazandaran Province is one the most beautiful tourist attractions in northern Iran.
The plain is located over 2,000 metres above the sea level and is surrounded by four mountains, with the tallest of them being Alamut.
Daryasar is in fact a connecting point between northern Iran’s forests and Alamut’s snowy environment.
The region’s golden chamomile flowers make it very attractive and spectacular in spring, prompting local people to nickname it as the tourist paradise.
