Mohammad Moein was a prominent Iranian researcher and professor whose house in Tehran has turned into a museum.
The Museum House of Mohammad Moein is indeed a complex of two buildings. One is the historical house of professor Moein, author of Moein Encyclopaedic Dictionary and the confident of Ali-Akbar Dehkhoda, the prominent Iranian linguist, in compilation of the latter’s extensive dictionary.
The other house belonged to Master Amir Jahed, professor Moein’s father in-law who was a poet and composer.
The Municipality of Tehran purchased the houses in 2006. Now the complex serves as museum and cultural, artistic centre.
