Two-time Asian champion Esteghlal of Tehran and the past year’s Iran Pro League champion Esteghlal of Khuzestan eased past Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun and the UAE’s Al Jazira, respectively, in 2017 AFC Champions League on Monday.
In its match against Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun, Esteghlal’s Kaveh Rezaei was on target just 50 seconds into the match at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Oman.
