Shourmast Lake is the only natural lake in Savadkuh County of Iran’s northern Mazandaran province, with an area of 15,000 square metres and a depth of 5 metres.
The natural lake is located about 6 kilometres west of Pol-e-Sefid on the heights overlooking the city, adjacent to the village of Shourmast.
Surrounded by old and tall alder trees, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful places in Savadkuh. The visitors of this lake are mostly tourists, nature adventurers and fishermen.
