The 17th edition of a festival of local games was recently held in Javaher Dasht village in Gilan province, northern Iran.
The festival included events such as volleyball, horse racing, tug of war, traditional sports, choosing the strongest men in the village, local wrestling, and the carnival of the bride.
Javaher Dasht is a village in Siahkalrud Rural District, Chaboksar District, Rudsar County of Gilan Province.
