Vardij and Varish are two beautiful villages in Sulqan Rural District, Kan, in the vicinity of Iran’s capital Tehran.
The two villages are among the most important tourist attractions of Tehran Province. There are about 450 households in Vardij and Varish. The area is mountainous and the gradual erosion of the rocks by wind has created some stone giants that the local people call stone ghosts. The stones look like giant human heads.
