Locho wrestling is a traditional field of Pahlavani sports practiced in the northern Iranian province of Mazandaran.
Annually, the people of Mazandaran gather together on July 19 to hold the Feast of the Dead, a part of which is the Locho wrestling contest.
The contest, which dates back to more than a thousand years ago, is held to choose the Pahlavan of the region.
