Tehran’s Milad Tower Hosts Stair Climbing Competition

The second international stair climbing competition (Tower running) was held at Tehran’s iconic Milad Tower on December 6, 2017.

Climbers from 19 countries took part in the international competition, which was held on Wednesday on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday anniversary.

The contestants climbed 1,866 steps, and at the end of the competition, Iranian climbers won the top prizes in men and women’s sections.

The 435-metre Milad Tower is the tallest structure in Iran and one of the tallest ones in the world.
