Tehran Gyms to Be Closed for 7 Days as COVID-19 Cases Surge: Official

All gyms and sports club in the Iranian capital, Tehran, have been closed for a week due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The order was issued by the director of coronavirus management operations following a surge in infections in the capital.

Based on the directive, doing sports at gyms, especially sports involving physical contact such as wrestling, martial arts, and the like, will be forbidden for a week.

Swimming pools and bodybuilding gyms will also remain shut all along.
