Iran’s top officer hailed the country’s missile and drone capabilities, saying that Moscow is willing to use Tehran’s experience in building long-range drones.
“Today, long-range drones identify and shoot their targets with a great precision, and only one or two countries are capable of making such drones,” Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said on Sunday, September 25.
“Even Russians are seriously looking for our help to gain the know-how of long-range drones,” he noted, as reported by Tasnim and translated by IFP.
“Of course the US has the technology, and Israelis also enjoy the achievement thanks to the Americans,” he went on to say.
He further noted that many of these sciences have been achieved during wars.
“After the Sacred Defence (Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s), when I studied geography, I found that the scientific depth achieved in Operation Valfajr 8, where almost 15 battalions crossed that river, has yet to be experienced anywhere in the world, and no one has its know-how,” he said.
“Even the current war in Syria and Iraq against terrorists can be a competition for the production of knowledge,” General Baqeri said.
