Rain and Hail in Tabriz

Heavy rainfall and hail in Tabriz in the last hot days of spring shocked and surprised local citizens. Some of the hailstones were as large as several centimetres in diameter, and drainage systems experienced brief overflows, though no serious damage was recorded.
