President Rouhani congratulates nation on Eid al-Fitr, nuclear victory

President Hassan Rouhani on Friday felicitated Iranians on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr as well as on the nuclear agreement reached with world powers on July 14 in Vienna.

This year, we are in the middle of two spritual and political feasts, he wrote in a message, one marking the religious piety and other the national determination as the countries centrifuges are spinning and Iran’s economy is on the verge of transformation.

‘We were patient on abstaining from eating and drinking and from committing sin and managed to reach Eid al-Fitr, likewise, we stood before pressure of sanction and economic and political hardships by adopting political piety and proved that we were only after peace in having access to nuclear knowledge and that no individual or government can deny it from us.’

‘Thanks to our religious piety’, he added, ‘we proved our political piety so that the world can prove its honesty.’

Today, wrote President Rouhani, the centrifuges of Iran are spinning and the country’s economic wheel is on the verge of a transformation toward great boom.
