An Iranian lawmaker representing religious minorities in the parliament has slammed the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran.
The representative of Iranian Zoroastrians in the Parliament strongly condemned Wednesday terrorist attacks in the Iranian capital, saying that killing innocent people is completely against international humanitarian law.
Esfandiar Ekhtiari said in a statement that Iranians would stand against the destructive beliefs of terrorists.
“The main question lingering in mind is that under what pretext the terrorists justify their atrocities against the innocent people,” he asked.
The Zoroastrian Member of Parliament stressed that the nation had always stood against the destructive beliefs and these attacks would only make them more determined in their fight against terrorism.
