Jalaleddin Castle in northeastern Iran (PHOTOS)

The centuries-old castle is perched on a hill in North Khorasan Province.

Jalaleddin Castle in the town of Jajrom, in the northeastern province of North Khorasan, was built about eight centuries ago.

Stones, bricks and stucco have been used in the construction of the fort which stands on top of a hill.
