Iran Unveils Ultra-Heavy Tank Carrier, Optimized Tank

The two new army achievements were unveiled during the Beit ul-Moqaddas 28 wargames underway in the central province of Isfahan.

“The Pouria ultra-heavy tank carrier and Felaq tank were unveiled during the Beit ul-Moqaddas drills,” General Massoud Reza Zawarei, head of the Iranian Ground Force’s Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad, told reporters in Isfahan today.

He said that the Felaq is equipped with an automatic, stabilized Dushka weapon, which is controlled by the crew inside.

Iran’s Ground Force started massive missile drills codenamed Heidar Karrar 3 in the central parts of the country on Sunday as a part of the Beit ul-Moqaddas wargames series.

Different infantry, mechanized and air force units are participating in the exercises.

The Iranian Armed Forces have recently test-fired different types of newly-developed missiles and torpedoes, and tested a large number of home-made weapons, tools and equipment, including submarines, military ships, artillery, choppers, aircrafts, UAVs and air defense and electronic systems, during massive military drills.
