Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says that Iran is neither afraid of other countries’ citizens nor attracted to foreign people, and will just make use of the constructive interaction with the world for its national interests.
“We’re neither xenophile, nor xenophobe. We’re Muslims, Iranians and revolutionary people,” said the President at the late Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum in Tehran on Monday.
Attending the Imam mausoleum to renew allegiance to the late Founder of the Islamic Republic on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, President Rouhani said the country “will make use of constructive interaction with the world to benefit its own people.”
