Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed his condolences over the deaths of Iranian border guards killed in a clash with outlaws near the Pakistani border, and promised to pursue the punishment of the terrorists.
“I offer my condolences over the sad news of the martyrdom of a number of brave and innocent Iranian border guards killed by armed outlaws,” Zarif said in a message on Thursday.
Zarif expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims, and gave assurance that the Foreign Ministry will spare no effort to pursue the issue and the punishment of the terrorists through diplomatic channels.
