Hampoiel Cave in East Azarbaijan Province is a beautiful site to be toured by nature lovers.
Hampoiel Cave is situated in Tazekand village, 8 km to the southeast of Maragheh, a town in East Azarbaijan province. Locally known as the cave of birds, the cave has an entrance the rooftop of which used to be a nest for wild birds. The 200-meter-deep cave is more than 2 km in length.
