Giant Eggs Coloured ahead of Nowruz

On the occasion of the Persian New Year or Nowruz, Tehran has been decorated with large eggs, coloured by visual artists.

It is an old Iranian custom to colour eggs during Nowruz, the Persian New Year.

According to a Farsi report by Tasnim, ahead of spring’s arrival, Tehran has been decorated with giant coloured eggs.

Several visual artists have painted these large eggs and the Municipality of Tehran has put the artworks on display.
