Hachaqiyeh is a summer countryside near the city of Choubar in the northern province of Gilan, known for its pristine, stunning nature.
In Azeri language “hacha” means two-branched and “qiyeh” means rocky peak. Hachaqiyeh is indeed the name of a famous peak in the region; a magnificent mountain with a two-branched summit like camel humps.
Several springs and fountains flow at the foot of this mountain. They join each other and form larger streams in the middle of rangelands and valleys.
The river created by these flows is the one that has long irrigated Choubar and its surrounding farmlands.
