Nowruz Celebration in Western Iranian City of Marivan

Kurdish people hold special rituals to celebrate Nowruz, the ancient Persian festival of New Year which coincides the beginning of spring.

Iranian people in the western city of Marivan in Kurdestan province marked the beginning of New Iranian Year by holding Nowruz celebrations in their own traditional style.
