IRGC member martyred during Israeli regime’s attack in Syria

Behrouz Vahedi, a high-ranking member of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, was martyred early Tuesday morning in Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, during an attack by the Israeli regime’s planes.

Vahedi leaves behind a 2-year-old son.

In early March, the Israeli regime had carried out another attack in the Syrian city of Baniyas, martyring another IRGC member.

Iran says its presence in Syria is on an advisory basis and at the formal invitation of the Damascus government.
