Iranian forces, Taliban clash again on Iran-Afghanistan border

Taliban forces and Iranian border guards have reportedly engaged in a firefight along the Milak border north of Iran’s Sistan and Balouchestan Province.

The clash left no casualties. An informed source told Iran’s Tasnim News Agency that the clash has ended.

He added that the cause of the fighting is under investigation.

Iranian and Taliban border forces have clashed several times since the group’s takeover of Afghanistan nearly 1.5 years ago.
