A Caspian Airlines passenger plane with 112 people on board has suffered a tyre burst while landing in Mashhad International Airport.
According to an airport official, the aircraft’s tyre burst at 10:50 (local time) when the Asaluyeh-Mashhad flight was landing in Mashhad’s Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport.
The plane finally stopped at the end of the runway, the official said, adding that the runway is now open.
All the passengers were taken out of the plane, and are totally safe now, the official noted, stressing that the plane has not suffered serious damage.
