Iran tourism: Gerdabben lake freezing

Following a sharp drop in temperature in Iran’s Charmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Gerdabben lake in the provincial capital, Shahrekord, froze, creating a spectacular and beautiful scenery.

Gerdabben covers an area of 55 square hectares and has two lakes. The first lake is nearly 8 meters deep.

Gerdabben is a key tourist attraction of Charmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

The freezing of the lake this year has created a unique landscape there.
