An Iranian knowledge-based company is to export its resistance welding electrodes, much in demand by auto makers, to international markets.
Artash Composite, a knowledge-based company producing resistance welding electrodes as one of the items used by auto makers, is trying to offer the product on international markets.
According to a Farsi report by ISNA, the move is in line with Iran’s plan to expand the market for its nano-products in the automobile manufacturing sector.
The company has been producing resistance welding electrodes since 2011, meeting a considerable part of the needs of auto giant Iran Khodro Company (IKCO).
Resistance welding electrode is the most frequently used item in auto manufacturing and home appliances industries. More than 95% of vehicles’ body parts are produced using
resistance welding electrodes.
Artash Composite is now holding talks with South Korea’s Kia Motors to supply the car maker with resistance welding electrodes, and has already sent 150 kilograms of the product to the Obara Corporation for testing.
