Jaberi Ansari, who is Iran’s top negotiator in Astana talks on Syria, arrived in Damascus late Tuesday to discuss with high-ranking Syrian officials the latest regional developments as well as the trend of international talks on Syria.
He will also join Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad in a fresh round of meetings of the Iran-Syria Joint Political Commission.
