Iran Congratulates Syria on Victories over Terrorists

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani has congratulated Syrian people, government, army, and security forces on the liberation of Deir ez-Zor from Takfiri terrorists.

In a message to his Syrian counterpart Ali Mamlouk, Shamkhani highlighted the leading role of Syrian President and Commander of Armed Forces Bashar al-Assad as well as the resistance forces and popular committees in the liberation of Deir ez-Zor.

The back-to-back victories of Syrian government forces over the Takfiri terrorists and the liberation of important and strategic areas in Syria herald a promising future for the region with a secure and stable condition.

The top military advisor to Iran’s Leader went on saying that the terrorists are expected to be completely eradicated thanks to the relentless endeavours of the Syrian fighters who sacrifice their lives in fight against terrorists as well as the upcoming liberation of all cities and villages across the country.

“Active, practical and close cooperation between Iran, Syria, Iraq and Russia as well as Lebanon’s Hezbollah has led to massive achievements in fight against ISIS and other terrorist groups. Meanwhile, the foreign conspiracies against the regional states aimed at creating instability and insecurity have failed due to the cooperation,” he added.

Shamkhani wished success for the Syrian security chief and stressed the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its constructive cooperation with the Syrian government by sending humanitarian aid to the war-torn nation and offering field consultations to the Syrian sides to reconstruct the areas retaken from the terrorist groups.
