The International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) has finally allowed Iranian women to attend Asian and international competitions while observing the Islamic dress-code (Hijab).
The IWWF made the decision following several letters of request sent by Iran’s Waterski & Wakeboard Federation.
According to a Farsi report by the Haft-e Sobh newspaper, the international federation finally issued an official certificate allowing Iranian women wearing Islamic Hijab to take part in international competitions.
Now Iran’s women national team of waterski and wakeboard can take part in international competitions with the Islamic Hijab confirmed by the Ministry of Sport.
