The Tokyo Snake Centre has 35 snakes, kept inside boxes. Visitors can choose any of them, and the staff will bring the box with the snake to their table. For an additional fee, the reptile lovers can even pet the snake of their choice.
“I’m deeply in love with snakes. I started my cafe with the motivation to show all the people in the world how wonderful and beautiful snakes are,” says the cafe manager Hisamitsu Kaneko.
