According to Honar Online, the artists participating in the event were selected based on their background and with the vote of an art council.

The sculptors will have to create the portraits of the figures assigned to them. At the end of the symposium, the sculptures will be molded and the works will be installed at the designated locations in the city. Cash gifts will also be handed to the artists.

The symposium tries to provide the young generation of sculptures with the chance to make use of the experience of veterans. The event is open to the public for free from 9 am to 5 pm.

Ali Nasirian is an actor, writer and director of Iranian cinema, theater and television. He has been recognised as one of the most famous Iranian figures who has received a first-rate art medal.
