Anzali Wetland, habitat of swamp tulips

Anzali Wetland is in Iran’s northern Gilan Province near the port city of Bandar Anzali.

The wetland is one of the most important and largest natural habitats for animals in Iran, attracting thousands of tourists annually.

Every year, it also hosts a large number of migratory birds that come to Iran from neighboring countries.
