Terrorists nabbed in Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province

The Iranian intelligence forces have arrested three members of a terrorist group in Iran’s southwestern Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province who were planning an act of sabotage in the country, according to news outlets.

The arrest comes amid unrest and deadly riots in the country following the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini, in police custody on September 16.

The intelligence forces reported that the group members were preparing incendiary materials and Molotov cocktails to vandalize and destroy public property.

Official sources told the media that the detainees were handed over to judicial authorities to stand trial, adding further details will be released later.
