Secretary General of the Lebanese Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that rulers of the Saudi and Israeli regimes want to create a rift between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
In a televised speech on Tuesday, he also said that Hezbollah will not resign from the government. ‘We are partners and holding on to it is a national responsibility.’
‘I assure to you that today we are in a very strong status … stronger than any time in the past five years, we are not worried, and we are concerned about the security, stability, and civil peace,’ he added.
Referring to the sarcastic video on the Saudi-financed MBC against the Hezbollah, he downplayed its effect and said, ‘Anyone can wage a media campaign against us … this is an indication to their weakness.’
‘Since Saudi Arabia announced the halt of its military assistance to Lebanon, a major campaign was launched,’ Nasrallah added.
He also offered condolences to the families of Hezbollah martyrs who were killed while securing Aleppo city against terrorists in Syria.
